Motor drive:

Underground: Flameproof asynchronous motor, 160–1000 kW. Supports VFD speed control.

Surface: Standard asynchronous or synchronous motor, 200–1250 kW. Has soft start.

Reduction & braking:

Reduction: Hardened gear reducer turns high speed low torque into low speed high torque – transmission efficiency ≥92%.
