Underground mine ventilation doors are basically "air managers" in mines. They mainly control the direction and flow of underground air, and can trap harmful gases in specific areas in case of danger. They are key equipment to ensure the safety of miners and the normal operation of mines. It can be equipped with different types of door bodies and control devices according to the size of the mine, ventilation requirements and operating environment, to achieve manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic opening and closing.
Mine ventilation doors usually consist of door bodies, control devices, sensors and linkage systems. They can adapt to harsh underground environments with high gas, high dust and humidity. They are commonly used in key places such as the connection between intake and return airways, mining faces and refuge chambers. The most widely used one now is the pneumatic pressure-free door, which has replaced the old-fashioned doors in many large domestic coal mines and become the first choice for ventilation systems.

Working Principle
: Normally, the door is closed to ensure the stable flow of underground air; when someone or a mine cart needs to pass, the sensor will trigger the control device to open the door, and it will automatically close after 10 to 30 seconds; if it is detected that the gas concentration exceeds the limit or there is a fire signal, the system will immediately close the relevant doors to form a safe isolation area to prevent the spread of danger.

Installation Steps

Operation and Maintenance
1. Personnel should use the dedicated pedestrian passage, and trigger the door to open in advance when vehicles need to pass;
2. Check daily whether the door is tightly sealed, whether the sensor is sensitive, and whether the control device has problems;
3. Clean the door track and sealing rubber strip weekly, and add lubricating oil;
4. Test the linkage function once a month, and calibrate the wind pressure sensor once a quarter.
